Experience of Understanding
ThetaHealing®
Not everything we believe is a final truth.
A belief is something we inwardly accept as true, and it can take part in the way we perceive, feel and respond to situations.
Our beliefs can form through family, society, religion, relationships, the experiences we live and the interpretations we build throughout life.
Some are conscious. Others remain in the subconscious.
A belief can keep taking part in our choices even when we are not yet able to perceive it.
What may lie behind a block
Some beliefs can limit our movement even when we consciously know what we want.
- “I can’t.”
- “I’m not enough.”
- “I don’t deserve it.”
- “It isn’t safe for me.”
These beliefs can take part in the way we react to relationships, opportunities, decisions and change.
And this does not necessarily mean standing still. A person can keep doing, trying and choosing, and still meet difficulties that keep repeating.
The mind may already have understood.
The belief may still be saying something else.
When might this Experience make sense?
- Self-confidence
- Deservingness
- Fears and insecurities
- Difficulty setting boundaries
- Difficulty moving forward even when you know what you want
- Recurring thought patterns
- Situations where there is rational clarity, yet something still seems to block the movement
- among others.
How it works
The experience begins with a question you wish to work on.
From there, we investigate beliefs that may be related to what is being lived.
Within the ThetaHealing® approach, these beliefs can be observed at four levels:
CoreGeneticHistorySoul
The work uses a guided meditation to access the Theta state, one of the five brainwave frequencies. It is the pattern that occurs naturally in light sleep, while driving on empty roads or during automatic, repetitive tasks. The Theta state works as a direct bridge to our subconscious.
Within the approach, a belief that is a negative pattern can be worked on so that it is replaced by a new inner reference with positive thoughts.
The person takes part consciously in this process.
Beliefs that may be limiting our movement, and the possibility of reframing them, opening space for new inner references.
Opening space for new paths.
Where does it come from?
ThetaHealing® was developed by Vianna Stibal in the United States in the 1990s.
The approach uses meditation and belief-investigation techniques and works with what is known as the Theta state.
Training and teaching of the methodology are organized by THInK® — ThetaHealing Institute of Knowledge®.
